Hardcore Comedy is another Category III sex comedy following the success of the Lan Kwai Fong series, tripling the risque factor with three different stories directed by emerging directors Andy Lo, Henri Wong and Chong Siu Wing. Starring hot young stars Dada Chan, Michelle Wai, Christine Kuo, Kelvin Kwan, Oscar Leung and William Chan, the movie lives up to its title by offering everything from sex, gambling to drugs while referencing Hong Kong culture. In "Erotic Dream," two college geeks (Kelvin Kwan, Terence Siufay) move into an old building packed with brothels. Over time, they turn into superheros trying to save these women from selling off their bodies. "Toxic Mushroom" follows a drug vendor's (William Chan) one-night-stand affair with a playgirl (Dada Chan) he meets during a rave party. In "A Life for A Life," a sushi store apprentice (Oscar Leung) re-encounters his long-time crush (Christine Kuo) one busy afternoon but is held back by a secret mission that he is on.
